Hello CVWA Wrestling Fans, Competitors and Coaches,

We hope your Freestyle/Greco season is going well and the CVWA is meeting your competitive needs.

Great news! Our membership is up to 851 members. That's almost 200 more than last year. Our goal is to finish the season with over 900. We're almost there! Coaches and parents, keep up the good work!

We have had four successful tournaments so far and we appreciate the good sportsmanship and cooperation that all of you have brought to these events. We encourage all of you to continue to support these tournaments through your participation as a competitor, coach, spectator, Mat Official, Pairings Official, and a time and score keeper. If you are interested in pairing or officiating, see the tournament director, the Pairings chair or the officials chair at sign-ups in the morning of each event. Please, continue to treat each tournament site with respect by picking up your trash and not damaging any of the facilities.

We want to remind everyone, COACHES BANDS will only be sold during registration. They are free with a Bronze or Copper Card AND a current Coaches Card. Bronze cards are available only through CAUSA Coaching Clinics, which are offered at all of the State Tournaments. Coaches Cards may be purchased only at the time of registration or on-line.

Please be on time to registration. We have a late fee, but have not exercised that yet. Last week, we had some try to register at 9 AM. With limited help in the pairings room, we must close weigh -ns and registration at 8 AM. Thank you for your cooperation.

Again, we invite everyone to read and review our constitution and by-laws to better understand the policies and guidelines of the CVWA. If you have any suggestions regarding our association or our website, please contact any of our board members.
